SEMINAR OVERVIEW

The focus of this seminar is on practical accounting and financial skills. In order to understand the context for numerical analysis, some background and theory of business operations will be covered. This seminar is interactive and there are many opportunities to practice what is learned.

SEMINAR GOALS

Upon completion of this module candidates should be able to:

Describe the content that is found in the major sections of each of the statements
Assemble appropriate accounts to create a simple Income Statement and Balance Sheet for a business. • Use examples to illustrate the concept of liquidity and be able to describe the relationship of the Cash Flow Statement to the other three statements
Relate financial, investing and operating decisions to financial statements
Have a general understanding of the bookkeeping, accounting and analysis processes. • Use basic accounting terms correctly
Trace the flow of accounting information from the Income Statement through the Statement of Retained Earnings and into the Balance Sheet

Payment Cancellation Policy

Registrants will receive a full refund for modules/courses cancelled by Supply Chain Canada, New Brunswick Institute.

You are eligible for a refund minus an administration fee of $75.00+HST for cancellation/withdrawal requests received in writing before the end of study week 2; thereafter, no refund will be available. Transfer requests to a future offering are permissible only if received in writing and accompanied by supporting documentation prior to study week 3. Credits to be used for future offerings are valid for 12 months from the date of initial payment and will expire if not used in that time frame. Please contact NB Institute for details regarding eligibility to transfer.

If you would like to withdraw from a module, please send an email to us at info.nb@supplychaincanada.com. You are required to inform the NB Institute of your intent as soon as possible. Clearly state your intention to withdraw and provide authorization for us to proceed.
